Instructions
When you attempt to access our shared resource with your
credentials, you may see the following:
When you click Next, you should see this:
You can either:
1 – Install Microsoft Authenticator.
2 – Click on Set up a different authentication app.
Microsoft Authenticator
Install Microsoft Authenticator on your phone. Do not login with anything yet. Do allow it to have access to your phone’s
camera and allow notifications.
On the computer, click Next, and follow the
instructions given on the screen:
Click Next to get the QR Code you will need to scan
for the app.

On your computer, click Next.
You should see this:
Your phone should also ping, asking you to put in the number
you see on the screen.
When you do, it will then show this:
When you click Done, it will re-prompt you in order
to log in properly.
Alternate Authenticators
You should use an Authenticator app that will do OATH Token
or One-Time-Passcode functionality, such as Duo Mobile, Authy, or 1Password.
On the computer, click Set up a different authentication
app, you should see something similar to this:
Follow the instructions, then click Next.
You should see the following:
Scan the QR code for that app so you have the authenticator
account on your authenticator app.
Once you do so, click Next.
You should see the following:
From your authenticator app, put in the code it has at this
time, keeping in mind that the app should have a timer, indicating when it will
change.
Click Next as soon as you put in your auth code,
which will confirm the authenticator is correctly configured.
Click Done and you will be re-prompted to put in the
code for your email address:
Get the code from your authenticator and click Verify
to continue.
